A child’s Jewish education is of utmost importance to the continuity of our people. Generations of Jewish youth have been educated in the ways of our ancestors, and have in turn passed on the teachings to their children.
I’d like to introduce you to the Chabad Kids Club--not your typical Hebrew School, which is geared specifically to families interested in developing their practical understanding of Judaism. We believe that a Jewish education should be fun and interesting; that a child should look forward to learning about Judaism, rather than dread it.
At Chabad we strive to bring the wealth of our history and traditions to all. We do so in all our programming, and we especially do so in our curriculum.
We teach that Judaism can be applied to our everyday lives, and that there is more to our religion than synagogue services. Students will learn to read basic Hebrew and familiarize themselves with prayers. Additionally, Jewish holidays are taught with great detail as to their history and observances. We also cover a variety of Judaic topics in depth.
Chabad Kids Club will meet on two Sundays a month for the remainder of the school year (see tentative calendar below for details) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Tuition for the remainder of this school year is $150 per child.
